Lorena was born and raised in Southern California. In 2022, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry from Chapman University. Lorena was a STEM leader at Chapman University, where she facilitated hands-on experiments and mentored younger students in the field of science. In addition to her studies, Lorena was involved in the Latinx and First-Generation Student Association. As a college adviser, Lorena aims to use her invaluable experiences as a first-generation college student to support and guide students as they work toward their post-secondary goals.
