Valeria Alvarez is from Wilson, NC. She graduated both high school and college in her small-ish hometown. Valeria got her bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Social Studies and Education. She comes from an immigrant Hispanic family and is the first in her family to obtain her bachelors degree. Her goal in this role is to be able to help many other students get to and graduate from college that may have had the same struggle as she did.
