Maria ‘Emily,’ is a Texas native raised in the state of NC. She graduated from NC State, earning two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminology and Political Science. While at NC State, Maria was a member of the Chancellor’s Leadership Development Program as well as other programs like TRiO, and she also served as a student employee while working with civic organizations in Raleigh. As a college adviser, Maria hopes to assist students in reaching all of their post-graduation goals and ensuring that every student’s achievements are acknowledged.
