Richard McNeill Jr. proudly hails from Magnolia, NC. Before attending NC State, he graduated from James Kenan High School located in Warsaw, NC, in 2020 and was supported by phenomenal WolfCAC advisers. As a Duplin County native, Richard understands the power that obtaining an education can have on your life. He is incredibly proud to be the 1st man in his immediate family to have obtained a bachelor’s degree. In the role of college adviser, Richard hopes to inspire others to achieve their post-secondary goals and aspirations regardless of their doubts. He hopes to remind everyone he encounters that success is not linear, nor is it universal; everyone’s path is different, and that’s what’s beautiful.
