Mary Katherine Bennett was born and raised in Burlington, North Carolina. In 2024, she graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from NC State University with minors in Zoology and Biological Sciences. During her time at NC State, she was a part of the Oaks Leadership Scholars, a mentor in the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Village, and President of the NCSU chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI.) As a college adviser, Mary Katherine aims to support all of her students in planning and achieving their postsecondary goals and encouraging perseverance in all of them.
