Kita (she/her) is from Fayetteville, NC. She moved to Raleigh to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at NC State University and graduated with her B.A. in the Spring of 2021. Most of Kita’s college journey was spent in the College of Education and Student Advocacy, where she was Vice President of an organization, a resident advisor for two years, a member of a Living and Learning Village, and Director of University Affairs under Student Government. As a college adviser, Kita is so excited to continue developing her passion for student education, advocacy, and mentorship. Kita’s goal throughout her time in the corps is to leave a lasting impact on the students she advises by making sure she meets with every single one of her students.
