About Jacob:

Originally from Frederick, MD, Jacob Hoyt serves as the College Adviser at Southern Wayne High School in Wayne County. He strongly values social justice and equality in America, and hopes to devote his life to improving the well-being of others. In this position, he hopes to learn from his students about the strengths they possess as members of rural communities. After his term of service, he will be pursuing a Master of Social Work degree and his LCSW licensure, in order to one day work in his dream job as a High School Social Worker.
